Small and medium-sized enterprises make up for more than 90% of all businesses worldwide and are therefore a central element of the economy. In contrast to this position in the economy, the conditions for financing of the further development of companies are limited precisely due to their size and limited possibilities of guarantees for possible loans for the company development. SMEs face complications associated with unfavourable conditions of banking institutions, especially in the period of financing the corporate growth, and are essentially in a similar situation as start-ups.
Obtaining financing for growth (further development) of the company requires a thorough analysis of corporate finances and consideration of all options available on the market through banking institutions or using modern banking tools, venture capital or addressing direct investors and so-called business angels.
