On September 17, after three years of construction, the battery factory of the Czech company HE3DA was opened in Horní Suchá. The grand opening of Magna Energy Storage (MES) was attended by two main implementers, the inventor Mr. Ing. Jan Procházka and the investor Mr. Radomír Prus, a number of important guests, including the chairman of the senate RNDr. Miloš Vystrčil and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Self-Employed Persons of the Czech Republic Karel Dobeš, who is also the government's representative for cooperation with the GSA space agency. Czech investors of the association in the Battery Unite fund helped with the financing of production, when they supported the construction with a total amount of CZK 1.4 billion.

The Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, which has long supported the company, also played a role in introducing HE3DA batteries to the lay and professional public.
