COVID19 - Foreign technology: production of a lung ventilator

A group of engineers and designers from the Polish company Urbicum has developed a publicly accessible lung ventilator and offers it to any organization owning a 3D printer documentation for its production. The company states that it is currently a "last resort" if the acute need for a ventilator cannot be met by offering certified ventilators. This ventilator has not yet undergone clinical trials.

The fan is simple in construction and consists of parts that are commonly available worldwide. Its production can also take place in poorer countries. Access to a 3D printer is required.

The company is also looking for partners to cooperate - doctors, technicians with knowledge of the production of fans and medical devices, engineers with experience in the production of 3D parts and managers with experience in leading and managing projects.
